This materials page serves to help expand the role of materials education to SUSOA students, faculty, alumni and other practitioners. Our sample collection and this website gives everyone an opportunity to research, explore, and experiment with materials.  We hope our Materials Collection will serve as an inspiration and have an important pedagogical role for our students and faculty, who are interested in learning about aesthetic, physical, and performative properties of new materials in contemporary architectural contexts.
